What about the other jammers and their music? Here's where you'll find out who has recordings available and how to get them. You'll also find my humble critique, if I've heard a particular recording...this will be only my opinion and observation, and as "constructive" as possible. I have a "limited" experience with recording, and make no claims to be an "expert" at anything musical...but I do think I listen pretty well, and have an ear for detail. I also listen to a wide variety of music (anything with a guitar in it!) and I do understand that, even if it's something "I" wouldn't normally buy, it still has value and an audience that would. So, hopefully, what I might have to say will be taken in the spirit of useful, honest feedback to the artist, and as simple opinion by future listeners. I will try NOT to "rate" things, because I believe it's ALL worth listening to and you should endeavor to listen to other musician's work, regardless. I am interested in getting more jammers (especially the ones I know!) to record their work, if only for self-expression. The focus of The Jammer's Site has been to "enable" individual musicians and bands in their efforts...to show what computers and the Internet can do for them...to provide a place to get honest, no bull, information on the resources available to them. By the way, I purchase the recordings I review...If I can't afford it at the moment, I may borrow a recording, but I will note that in my review. I try to buy whatever a jammer puts out, even if it's not my "cup of tea" at the moment...because I can always use a new perspective and I really think we all deserve to be heard! As always, please share your experiences with any equipment, programs or services you've used...good, bad or indifferent! Want your efforts heard? Want honest feedback?
